Sustainable development

All actions carried out on the island shall be conducted from the perspective of sustainable development and the preservation of its ecological integrity. The CÎP shall see to maintaining a balance between preserving and developing this unique environment, and enthusiastically embraces the associated challenges. Thus, in partnership with Parks Canada, a set of rules of will soon be established regarding a responsible, respectful approach to watching the island’s abundant birdlife.
