The Corporation de l’Île aux Perroquets (CÎP) was founded in 2010 for the purpose of protecting, presenting and revitalizing the Île aux Perroquets lighthouse station. As such, the island and its facilities represent a breathtaking gateway at the western end of the Mingan Archipelago, considered a leading tourist attraction and branding image for the North Shore. Work restoring the buildings ended in October 2013, and now, after more than 30 years of near total neglect, this jewel has been restored to life.
