Île aux Perroquets is not suited to the needs of mobility-impaired persons.
You will soon be enjoying an experience that is both authentic and modern. Houses on the island have been restored in respect of their original architecture. We must thus advise you that bathrooms are shared and that rooms are cozy but not as spacious as those in major hotels.
Being on an island entails having to be autonomous in terms of energy and water – both of which are not available in unlimited quantities here. Accordingly, we installed timer systems on the showersin order to optimize the management of water (aka “blue gold”). As concerns energy, abiding by some simple rules of use will ensure that everyone has a pleasant stay without having to make any significant compromises.
The conditions enabling visitors to come and go on Île aux Perroquets all depend on Mother Nature. We kindly ask that you keep in mind that on rare occasions, you will not be able to access or exit the Inn. In either case, we will be delighted to help you find ways of getting the most out of your stay in the Mingan region.
